Types of solution
There are three primary types of solutions in case of a disaster.
- Backup - This is simply a copy of data. Storage media and solutions vary but will require manual recovery.
- Business Continuity (BC) - This type of solution will provide a means to continue running the business services and data access with as little disruption as possible.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) - A DR solution allows for a full recovery to the pre-disaster state.
